Ash is a type of wood found in Tradelands. It is obtained by chopping trees with any Axe, except the Stone Axe. Ash is known for its semi-rare tendency to drop, as well as it's faded, light gray coloration when used to create various ships and items in the game.
The best axe to use to get this wood is a Steel Axe. The type of wood won't make a difference. However, if you are wishing to acquire this material in bulk, then it is advised to buy it from other players instead of grinding it yourself, as trading for the money to do so will take less time.
When used to create tools, weapons, ships, and cannons, Ash will change the color of the wood to a light gray; basically what ash would look like!
