The Steam Goose is a level 7 Fluyt. It is a modification to the regular Goose, now equipped with a steam engine. It requires a Steam Goose Voucher to make, which is able to be purchased for 500 Robux from the Premium Merchant.

It was added as part of the August 31st Update. It replaces the life raft on the deck with a size 4 mortar, allowing for more firepower, however drops two of the cannons to make room for the engine.

With the addition of the steam engine, the Steam Goose can outrun many ships that may try to give chase to it, going upwind, making it more desirable than the standard Goose, but more expensive.

Even with an engine, it's still mediocre in combat. The mortar is not very practical with its small size, however the broadside is somewhat effective. Aided with the engine, it can do moderate damage and work as a pseudo combat ship.

It works in similarity to the Fox, having similar mercantile purposes aided with a steam engine.

Trivia

  • The Steam Goose is, according to Nahr, for "big boys only".
