The Stone Axe is the default axe given to the player upon first playing Tradelands, and can also be purchased for 1000 doubloons at the General Merchant. Being the lowest tier axe, it is only capable of gathering oak, which does make it useful to only obtain oak, as you can avoid other timber that are "taking up space". It consumes more stamina than metal tools though, so an iron axe is still a good alternative for gathering oak.
Warning! Has very low durability.
